Dress Code
Clothing is the MOST important element in creating exquisite Formal Portraits & Formal Family Pet Portraits.
High School Senior Portraits may include casual, sports and other clothing and prop options.
Also, we provide the wardrobe for Magical Children Portraits.
We Specialize in Formal Portraits and Formal Family Pet Portraits
Please choose One of the following:
1. Formalwear, such as tuxedos and evening gowns
2. Semi-Formal, such as suits, button-up collared dress shirts, ties, and nice dresses or evening gowns. Dress shoes, socks and belts.
WHAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE! - jeans, t-shirts, polos, shorts, tank tops, busy patterns, etc...
PLEASE NOTE: Wardrobe guidelines need to be followed or it will need to be reschedule.
Choose either "ALL Dark Tones" or "ALL Light Tones" from head to shoe.
- Darker Tones would include black and deeper jewel tones
- Light Tones would include white, cream, and lighter pastel tones
- Dark suits with a white or light button up collared dress shirt is fine
- Shoes, socks, and belts should match the same tones as the outfits
- Outfits with texture in them such as lace, linen and other textures work well
- It is very important to choose solid colors. Stay away from stripes, polka dots, busy patterns, floral patterns, multi-color tops or bottoms and bright or neon colors.
Dress Rehearsal:
- About two weeks before your appointment, have a "Dress Rehearsal Party" to ensure everything looks flawless from head to shoe.
- Remember any jewelry and accessories you would like to feature and put them is a zip lock bag and attach it to the hanger.
- Planning ahead will allow you time to make adjustments just in case something does not fit, and will minimize stress to ensure an enjoyable experience.
- If there is any props that mean something special to you will help personalize your portraits
- We highly encourage if there are any dancers or anyone that plays an instrument to bring your favorite dance outfit or instrument.
Cancellation Policy
As a renowned portrait studio that is highly sought after by clients seeking exceptional artistry, we operate with limited appointment availability to maintain our commitment to delivering outstanding art across the United States. Each appointment involves a reserved appointment and a fully refundable temporary booking deposit to secure your spot on our calendar.
The booking deposit is completely refundable at the end of your viewing appointment.
Appointments Cannot be rescheduled online, voicemail, email, and/or by text.
Should an extreme situation arise and cause a need to reschedule, please call the studio at 804-744-4700. Please give us at least a two-week notice. One reschedule is complimentary.
The booking deposit is non-refundable for canceled appointments and appointments that are late.
